We're both riding HP Velotechnik Scorpions. Mine's a Pedelec with a Go-Swiss pedal assist motor, while Paula has a Scorpion with a Bionx pedal assist motor. We travel from rail trail to rail trail in our large van. It provides storage space for the trikes, and camping amenities for us.
(2026 update) We’re about ready to head out on the next RV/biking adventure. This time we’ll take our two Trek Marlin +8 hard-tail mountain bikes. We’ve had them for almost two years, and love them — quite sure-footed and maneuverable. We’ve still have the trikes, which are both HP Velotechnik FS20’s with Shimano e-assist, and they do get a lot of use here in the Pacific Northwest. When we’re traveling in our Thor Compass Go RV, the two-wheelers fit much easier than the trikes, as we like to store them inside.
